New Years Beginning Running Program
ARE YOU READY TO MAKE THAT NEW YEARS RESOLUTION A REALITY?
We can help you meet your fitness goals. The Peninsula Pacers Running Club is offering an 8-week New Years Beginning Running Program designed to instruct non-runners and lapsed-runners in all aspects of running and to develop long term fitness habits. This low-key program starts Sunday 3 January 2010 and will guide the participants from a walk-run to a 20 minute non-stop run. All participants will "graduate" at a local 5k in mid-March. Sunday group sessions will be at Annapolis High School track at 11:00am.
The program includes a running schedule, group runs, information on finding the right shoes, injury prevention and recovery, heart rate training, running safety, motivation, imagery for workouts, and mostly......how to keep running fun.

Winter Distance Training Program
WANT TO KEEP YOUR HARD EARNED SUMMER FITNESS OVER THE WINTER?
Registration is open for the 30th annual "Moore's Marine's" Winter HALF/FULL/ULTRA Marathon Training Program.
Less than 1% of the population can run a 26.2 miles. Those that do find it to be a life confirming moment they will never forget. Train on the same course hundreds of previous First-Timers have successfully trained to achieve their dream.
We will have participants going to:
- B&A Half and Full Marathon
- SOLOMON'S ISLAND Half/Full
- SHAMROCK Half/Full
- NATIONS Half/Full
- WASHINGTON'S BIRTHDAY Marathon
- BOSTON Marathon
- COLUMBIA 50K
- HASHAWAHA HILLS 50K
- SENECA CREEK 50K
- HAT 50K
- BULL RUN 50 Mile
- CHERRY PIT 10 MILE
- CHERRY BLOSSOM 10 MILE
You will be guided by certified, nationally recognized coaches, and receive seminars by professionals in their fields of NUTRITION, MASSAGE, STRENGTH TRAINING, INJURY PREVENTION AND RECOVERY, IMAGERY FOR ENDURANCE ATHLETES, and many other runner specific topics.
You only have one FIRST Marathon. Train for it properly. Take the challenge and join us. Group runs will be Saturday's at 7 am from the Truman Park-N-Ride and use the same routes Ben used for 29 years.
